PAYMENT,  Insurance & Reimbursement

Payment: Payment is expected at the time services are rendered. I accept cash, checks, credit cards, FSA cards, and HSA cards, making it as easy as possible to manage the financial side of your care.

For virtual and remote clients, a credit card on file is required for all services, including late cancelled, no show, and missed appointments. For in-person clients, a credit card on file is required for late cancelled and missed appointments.

Insurance & Reimbursement:

I am an out-of-network provider, which means I am not contracted (in-network) with any insurance company. However, I want to make this process as straightforward as possible for you. As a courtesy, I am happy to submit claims to your insurance company on your behalf. Alternatively, I will provide you with a comprehensive monthly statement (commonly referred to as a “superbill” that you can submit independently for reimbursement. I encourage you to contact your insurance provider in advance to understand your out-of-network benefits and what, if any, reimbursement you may be eligible for.

Please note that I do not accept Medicaid or Medicare at this time.

Reduced Fees: I believe that financial circumstances should not be a barrier to receiving quality care. For existing and prospective clients who are experiencing financial hardship, I offer a sliding scale fee based on demonstrated financial need. I encourage you to reach out to discuss your particular situation - these conversations are always welcomed and handled with sensitivity and discretion.

Cancellation Policy:

Your scheduled appointment time is reserved exclusively for you, and I ask that you treat it with the same care and intention that I bring to our work together. Although I will always make every effort to fill a cancelled slot, doing so on short notice is often very difficult.

If you are unable to keep your appointment or need to cancel, I ask for a minimum of 24 hours advance notice. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice, as well as missed or no show appointments, will be billed at the full session rate. However, if I am able to fill your appointment time, or if we are able to find a mutually agreeable alternative time within the same week (Monday-Thursday), the cancellation fee will be waived.

If something unexpected arises, please do not hesitate to reach out as soon as possible - I understand that life happens, and I will always do my best to work with you.
