About the event

Participants will examine the benefits and risks of digital communication tools, develop strategics to establish, communicate and maintain clear boundaries with clients, and explore how to manage after hours interactions ethically. Through real world case examples and interactive discussions, attendees will gain actionable skills to ethically integrate the use or technology, while maintaining professionalism and avoiding accusations of client abandonment.

Objectives

1. Evaluate the ethical implications of using email, texting, and social media in client communication, including risks to boundary maintenance.

2. Implement strategics to establish, communicate, and reinforce clear digital and after hours boundaries with clients to protect both client welfare and clinician well being.
